NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)- Tax time is not fun, especially if you wind up having to pay Uncle Sam! At the Hard Rock Cafe, they understand this! News with a Twist Reporter Kenny Lopez found out how you can “Sing For Your Supper”.
Ever dream of being a rock star like Eddie Van Halen or Kid Rock? Well, now’s your chance. The Hard Rock Cafe is calling all rock star wannabes.
“It will make our guests feel like rock stars while they’re here, so it’ll be fun,” Julie Sanford, Sales & Marketing Manager at Hard Rock Cafe New Orleans, said.
On Tax Day, Hard Rock’s stage will be set for you to take center stage to sing for your supper alongside a real rock band — The Mixed Nuts.
You even get to choose the song!
“We know Tax Day isn’t the most pleasant day, but that’s why we’re doing this,” she said.
If you sing, you’ll get a free “Local Legendary Burger” which includes two certified black Angus patties with Brie and creamy Fontina mac & cheese in between.
“I’ve never heard a guest sing that hurt my ears or a guest that we had to bang the gong on,” Sanford said.
The “Sing For Your Supper” event takes place from 6-8 p.m.
