SLIDELL, La. (WGNO) – The Act X(10) Condominiums in Slidell are 60% destroyed from a structure fire Sunday.
Twelve tenants were trapped on their balconies.
Investigators believe one of the fires started in a downstairs condo unit.
Firefighters extinguished the flames in an hour and a half, but the fire remains under investigation.
Some residents believe arson is the cause, but the St. Tammany Fire District is not confirming arson at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
No injuries were reported.
