NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)-  The new hit TV show, “Scream Queens” is being filmed here in Hollywood South.   Local fans have been screaming for Lea Michele, one of the stars of the show.

Lea Michele’s not only a singer, Broadway actress, and a TV actress, but an author with a new book called, “You First: Journal Your Way to Your Best Life”.  Her first book, “Brunette Ambition” was a New York Times Bestseller.

The new book, “You First” outlines a series of exercises, prompts, and lists based on her personal program  of journaling to help inspire, empower and encourage her readers.

News with a Twist Reporter Kenny Lopez went to her book signing over the weekend at Garden District Books.

Fans were thrilled to meet Lea Michele, who’s best known for her performance as Rachel Berry on the award-winning TV show, “Glee”.  The young actress has since graduated from her “Glee” days and now stars on “Scream Queens“.  Lea Michele released her debut album, “Louder” in 2014 and it debut on the Billboard charts.

While in New Orleans filming “Scream Queens”, the actress has been spotted around town.  In recent months she’s posted to her Twitter and Instagram accounts pictures of her working out at Romney Pilates.  Check out the photo here of her exercising with her fellow “Scream Queens” co-star, Emma Roberts.
