New Orleans (WGNO) — Governor Bobby Jindal spoke out against the Louisiana ACLU’s letter accusing Airline High School in Bossier City of “invoking God, prayer, and Christianity” at school.
The Governor said in part ” this ACLU letter is the latest example of political correctness run amok. Next, the ACLU is going to be forcing schools to outlaw the phase “God Bless You” after a student sneezes. The war on Christianity has gone too far.”
Last week, Louisiana ACLU’s executive director Majorie Esman wrote a letter to the superintendent of Bossier Parish Schools over reports of “prayer boxes” on the school’s campus and religious messages posted on the school’s website.
