NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – When was the last time you let yourself be a kid again?

On Monday, the New Orleans Public Library hosted a “Wine and Color Night” at the Norman Mayer branch in Gentilly.

“In this area, we haven’t had a lot of adult programs. So, we’re trying to rectify that,” said library associate, Alicia Brookins.  “We’re trying to do things that adults will like. Things that are relaxing, not just informative.”

These aren’t kids’ coloring books, but the library provides sophisticated designs and all the materials to bring them to life. They also provide the wine and cheese.
