NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Pelicans takes on the L.A. Lakers at the Smoothie King Center in a primetime New Year’s Eve match-up. While players prepare for the big game, Jrue Holiday’s bobblehead is getting ready for his moment in the spotlight.
Lil’ Jrue was spotted admiring WGNO’s Christmas decorations, gussying up in the make-up room, even checking control room cameras before his close-up.
The first 8,000 fans at Thursday night’s game will take home a tiny Jrue of their own, courtesy of Smoothie King.
The Pelicans Fest Pre-Game Party begins at 5:30 p.m., with the game tipping off at 7 p.m.
