CHALMETTE, La. (WGNO) — Saint Bernard Sheriff’s deputies say they’re looking for a man who stole from the same store twice within a five-minute period.  They add that the man was able to change clothes in between heists.

According to deputies, it all went down on April 2 at the Cash America Pawn Shop in Chalmette.

At about 3:45 in the afternoon, deputies say the man entered the store and stole a XBox One gaming console.  Five minutes later, they say he returned to the store and stole a Toshiba laptop and a Playstation 4.

During the first theft, the man was wearing a flannel shirt, blue pants, and a red hat.  The second time around, he was wearing a zip-up hooded sweatshirt but no flannel shirt.

Aside from the suspect’s apparent preference to steal video game boxes, deputies aren’t playing when they encourage anyone with information to contact the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office at 504-271-2501 or CrimeStoppers at 504-822-1111.
