METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) – 20 seasons of baseball have been played at Zephyr Field, but this fall will be the first ever for football.
Zephyrs officials and the Catholic League of New Orleans announced the deal Thursday. The 8 game schedule kicks off Friday night September 23rd when Brother Martin opposes John Curtis.
6 games will be played on Friday Night. One on Thursday and one on Saturday.

John Curtis head coach JT Curtis, co-host of Friday Night Football said the agreement between the Zephyrs and the Catholic League is long overdue.
The football field would lay out down the left field line with the visitors’ bench on the second base side, and the home team on the third base side.
WGNO and Friday Night Football is a title sponsor for the eight series. This year, Friday Night Football is celebrating its 25th season.
