NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — New Orleans police are looking for a man who used a shovel to break into a home.  The surveillance footage above shows the break in.

The burglary happened on May 13 sometime between 1:30-2:30 in the afternoon at a home in the 1600 block of North Gayoso.

Police say the man used the shovel to break in through a door.  They say he also damaged another door and the backyard fence, and he got away with an air compressor, reciprocating saw, and two pair of women’s shoes.  Weird, yeah we know.

According to police, the man was able to get away with all that stuff on a light blue cruiser-style bicycle with a brown seat.
