GEISMAR, La. (WGNO) – The state senator who was arrested in November at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans after reportedly punching his “side friend” in the face was arrested again this weekend for allegedly biting his wife.
According to the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called Sunday to the Geismar home of state Sen. Troy Brown, D-Napoleonville. Brown’s wife told deputies that he became “irate” and bit her on the forearm.
Brown was arrested for domestic abuse battery and released from the Ascension Parish Jail Monday on a $5,000 bond.
Brown was arrested by NOPD after the Bayou Classic in November for allegedly punching his “side friend” in the face. The woman, not his wife, said she had been dating Brown for more than 10 years.
