NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Erik Nunez, the man accused of raping two women at former New Orleans Saint Darren Sharper’s apartment pleaded not guilty to rape and obstruction of justice charges in Orleans Parish Criminal Court Monday.
He was taken into custody and booked into the Orleans Parish Prison. His bond is set at $2.5 million.
Nunez appeared before Judge Karen Herman Monday morning.
On Friday, Nunez, Sharper and former Saint Bernard Parish deputy Brandon Licciardi were indicted on several charges related to alleged rapes in 2013.
