NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting in New Orleans East Wednesday (Nov.9) night.
Just before 9:30, officers responded to the 13100 block of Bishop C.L. Morton Sr. Drive after a man was shot in the area. NOPD says the man, identified as 20-year-old Hendrick Jackson, was declared dead on the scene.
No further details are available at this time but the NOPD is in the process of gathering evidence and information in order to determine a possible suspect and motive.
