NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A man was gunned down Sunday night (Feb. 12) in the Desire neighborhood.

It happened at around 9:38 p.m. in the 3500 block of Ursula Spencer Way. Police say a man was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. On Tuesday, the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office confirmed the man’s identity as 25-year-old Keilan Harris. Harris’ preliminary cause of death has been listed as a gunshot wound.

The homicide remains under investigation. There are no updates on a possible suspect or motive at this time.
