BELLE CHASSE, La. (WGNO) — Festival season in Louisiana brings a little bit of everything for residents and those in Belle Chasse are bringing the seafood.
Crowds gathered to enjoy the last day of the Plaquemines Seafood festival filled with crafts, music and of course seafood.
One special attendee that made his way to the festival included Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser. The Lieutenant Governor took time to discuss the successes of the Rose Parade and the important impact that the Louisiana seafood industry provides.
