NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The Benson family is still fighting over who will inherit Tom Benson’s sports empire. Hearings over his mental state continued Wednesday.
On Tuesday, his daughter Renee Benson and his granddaughter Rita Benson LeBlanc testified. Renee was reportedly on the stand for hours. Rita returned to the stand Wednesday morning. Her brother Ryan is expected to testify next, followed by a doctor, chosen by the LeBlanc family.

These hearings were expected to wrap up this week but are taking longer than expected, so they may go into next week.
