NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Gay marriage advocates gathered outside of the Orleans Parish Civil Courthouse celebrating the Supreme Court’s ruling that came down Friday morning. The group spoke on camera, many of them emotional, with a large rainbow-colored flag held high.
WGNO Anchor Jacki Jing spoke with LGBT Issues Attorney Ryan Delaney about what this means for New Orleans, answering questions about when same-sex couples can get licenses, what it means for couples that have licenses in different states and why the fight is far from over.
