After 3 years apart, a Cleveland soldier and his K9 companion have been reunited. U.S. Army Specialist John Nyerghes and his buddy Ranger were in Afghanistan together for ten months, but in 2012 the two were separated after the deployment. Ever since then John has been searching for his pal. Thanks to multiple organizations the two are back together.
“It’s not easy. He looks great, just like I left him,” says John. Ranger is credited with saving more than a thousand lives while overseas. Johny says, “I owe him my life. I intend to spoil him for the remainder of his.”
