METAIRIE, La (WGNO) — Drew Brees’ Smalls Sliders restaurant will be touching down in February for Metairie opening.

The new location, owned by Brees, Jason Loezel and Ben Smith, will open at 4580 Veterans Blvd, near Target, on Thursday, Feb. 1.

The Smalls Sliders team said the restaurant will have a drive-thru and a walk-up for ordering. The grand opening will include a ribbon cutting hosted by the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce at 10 a.m. The first 100 guests will receive free Smalls-branded slides.

“Drew has been an integral part of Smalls Sliders since its inception, and we are thrilled to celebrate his first Can opening,” said Maria Rivera, the CEO of Smalls Sliders, in a statement. “His passion and commitment to our vision and values have been a driving force of our growth and brand culture, and we are proud to partner with him in Metairie and beyond.”

This is the first of 40 openings of Smalls Sliders for 2024 in the Southeast. More locations will be opening in Gonzales and Siegen in the coming months.
