METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) – The New Orleans Pelicans play a game Thursday night on New Year’s Eve. They take on the Los Angeles Clippers at 7 p.m.

The first 8,000 fans that enter the Smoothie King Center for this game will get a Jrue Holiday bobblehead doll courtesy of Smoothie King.

Fans can watch the game and still get out in time to ring in the New Year in downtown.

We asked Eric Gordon, and Ryan Anderson with the Pels to share a fun resolution for their teammates.

Gordon said he would, “Tell Kendrick Perkins to stop being so loud.”

Anderson shared a resolution suggestion, “To go and eat at every restaurant that I recommend to them in all of New Orleans. That’s a fun resolution for somebody. I’m willing to do that if anybody asks me… I have probably like 30 restaurants right now off the top of my head. “
