NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – One of two overnight shootings in New Orleans happened on Interstate 10.
According to NOPD documents, the victim in the shooting at I-10 West and South Broad Street was shot while he was driving on the interstate.
Police say the victim was driving in the westbound lane of I-10 around 10:20 Tuesday night when he heard gunfire.
It was at that time investigators say that he realized that he had been shot.
The victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
The incident is under investigation
