NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – It’s a mountain story.
It’s the mountain that’s the old Kentucky home for the Farrell family. The Farrells have called Shay Mountain home for more than two hundred years.
Now a coal company wants the mountain and wants the Farrells to leave.

The stars of Outsiders are David Morse, Joe Anderson, Ryan Hurst, Gillian Alexy, Kyle Gallner, Thomas M. Wright and Christina Jackson.
The creators are Peter Mattei, Peter Tolan, Paul Giamatti and Michael Wimer.
The Farrell family literally lives outside the grid. That’s outside of any kind of internet or cell phone service. And mainly, that means living outside the law.
With their home at stake, the Farrells will do just about anything to protect their property. It’s actually not even their property. But they’re ready to go to war to fight for it.
Outsiders is a family tree story that’s like nothing else you’ve ever seen on TV.
