NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Moisture will be moving back in later Thursday night and early Friday with rain and storms across the area. Right now it looks like the heaviest activty will stay along the coast and just offshore with isolated areas of heavy downpours inland.
The bulk of the rain looks to fall in the morning time frame with less activity Friday afternoon. Expect just spotty showers later in the day with temperatures topping out in the upper 60s.
Rain chances over the weekend will continue in an isolated fashion with showers and storms popping up both Saturday and Sunday. However the overall chance is only around 30-40%. Look for temperatures back in the low to mid 70s.
Higher rain chances move back in early next week.
