NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — For the first time since 1998, Tulane will play a football game on Thanksgiving.
The Wave will host Memphis in the regular season finale November 28th. That game part of three Thursday games as the American Athletic Conference announced Tulane’s 2024 schedule.
Game times will be announced at a later date. Tulane played Louisiana Tech on Thanksgiving night 1998 in the Superdome. The Wave won to clinch a perfect 11-0 season in Tommy Bowden’s final game as Tulane head coach.
Tulane will open the season on a Thursday, August 29th, hosting Southeastern Louisiana.
