NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Isolated severe storms will be possible this afternoon with the threat of locally strong wind gusts and hail. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect across the area until 7 PM. Expect scattered showers and storms to continue through the day with the most widespread coverage on the eastern side of the area.
Isolated storms will be possible again Saturday afternoon followed by a much more widespread coverage of rain and storms Sunday morning.
