NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Skies are clear Thursday evening and the wind has really dropped to almost nothing for most of the area. That combined with very dry air will allow for a cool and crisp Friday morning. Look for upper 40s for the northern half of the area and a few inland locations on the south shore as well. We will see 50s for the rest of the area.

Nice weather with low humidity will continue through the weekend. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s Friday and then back in the low 80s Saturday and Sunday. Expect humidity to come back early next week as temperatures climb into the low to mid 80s. Right now it doesn’t look like much rain chance for at least the next 5-7 days.
