NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — It’s a good day to make a trip to the post office if you need to get those taxes mailed in. Look for afternoon temperatures around 80 across the area. We will see a light breeze out of the southeast which will bring more humidity to the area over the next few days.
Right now most of the week looks quiet. A weak system could bring a few showers on Thursday, but the best chance for that looks to be around the Mississippi border to the north.
Warm conditions will continue through the week with low to mid 80s across the area by Wednesday. Overnight lows will also be warmer with upper 60s each morning. Humidity will be increasing through the week as well.
Right now the next decent rain chance looks to hold off until Sunday.
