MANDEVILLE, La. (WGNO) — The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who is accused of spray-painting graffiti at the Northshore Jewish Congregation in Mandeville. The case is the latest one to roll on the Wheel of Justice.
According to the STPSO, the crime happened around 1:30 in the morning on April 16. Police also released a security camera image of the suspect who they say was driving what appears to be a dark colored Honda Civic.
It’s not the first time the synagogue has been targeted. In 2018, someone sprayed a large section of an outside wall of the building with antisemitic symbols and graffiti. That suspect was arrested and pleaded guilty.
