NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)-A member of the mega-superstar power pop group, The Black Eyed Peas was in New Orleans this week spreading positivity and a message!
News with a Twist Reporter Kenny Lopez caught up with Taboo from The Black Eyed Peas at the W New Orleans French Quarter Hotel, and even challenged him to a little dance off!
There’s nothing taboo about partying with Taboo of one of the world’s biggest mega-music super groups! The Black Eyed Peas!
To quote The Black Eyed Peas, ‘I gotta feelin’ tonight’s gonna be a good night’ because Taboo is bringing the boom boom pow to the W Hotel. Taboo’s here bringing his brand of fun and funk, but with a powerful message.
“It takes a village. I want to be part of the village. I’m the ambassador for the American Cancer Socity. I want to educate about healthy living and living life right,” Taboo said.
He’s using music, dancing, positivity, and healthy living as his platform to help fight cancer.
“When you speak of cancer, you speak to the world. Its just not a male thing or a female thing. There’s no age or demographic. Cancer doesn’t show any prejudice,” he said.
As a father of 4 kids Taboo wants a healthier world, a cancer-free world for his kids.
“I want to get people going and get people excited about life. That’s my gift,” Taboo said.
Taboo is the ambassador for the American Cancer Society. He’s traveling the globe raising awareness about cancer through positivity, music, dancing, and healthy living.
