At Leah’s Kitchen. Named for the Queen of Creole Cuisine, Leah Chase. She died in 2019 at the age of 96. Up there in Heaven now. And up there in a 30-foot mural at the airport restaurant.

Chase was the chef who believed a bowl of gumbo could change the world.
She served her famous dish to civil rights leaders, actors, singers and anybody else who would join her.
