Deputies report arresting 24-year-old Timothy Johnson regarding the May 7 double shooting in the Garyville neighborhood.

According to deputies, around 7 p.m., they were called to the corner of South Fig and Sherman Walker streets in reference to a shooting in the area. When they arrived, two women were found suffering from gunshot wounds.
