NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Blue Plate is now shaking up the sauce scene with two new sauces, a creamy cocktail sauce and creole tartar sauce.
The creamy cocktail sauce is a pairing of both ketchup and horseradish mixed with Blue Plate Mayonnaise.
The creole tartar sauce is a Blue Plate Mayonnaise paired with relish, herbs and spices, with creole mustard for extra flavor.
Blue Plate spokespeople say the creamy cocktail sauce is perfect for oysters, and the creole tartar sauce is perfect for fried shrimp.
Blue Plate Mayonnaise also has a spicy mayo sauce.
Blue Plate uses an all-original all-egg-yolk recipe that has been a staple in the Gulf South since 1927.
