GRETNA, La. (WGNO) — It’s an all-girl group. Singing from the soul. Rehearsing their roles as queens for a day. For a few days.
They are the wives of Henry the Eighth, the King of England.
And on stage, WGNO Good Morning New Orleans features reporter Bill Wood is saving you a seat for their big Broadway show, it’s called “Six the Musical.”
The stage is at Young Audiences Charter School in Gretna.
The musical is the first big show for the West Bank school.
It got a standing ovation. And now the school is ready for the next big curtain call.
