Mystick Krewe of Louisianians Captain Sen. Bill Cassidy and krewe senior lieutenants made the announcement on Wednesday, June 26.

Krewe leaders said Congressman Troy Carter will serve as the chairman of the 2025 Washington Mardi Gras Ball, slated to take place from Jan. 23 to Jan. 26, 2025, at the Washington Hilton.

Carter selected Lt. Col. Roderick “Rico” Alvendia to reign as king and Kendall Elizabeth Williams as queen of the ball.
