BOGALUSA, La. (WGNO) — Washington Parish sheriff’s deputies announced the arrest of a father and son in a marijuana investigation.
Deputies say 60-year-old Claude Creel and his 40-year-old son Christopher Creel are booked with charges of manufacture/cultivation of marijuana and possession of schedule one drugs.
According to deputies, the father and son were arrested by the WPSO Drug Task Force at their home on Dillon Road south of Bogalusa.
They say detectives found 33 plants near the back wood line of the Creel property as well as loose marijuana inside a safe in the home.
“It is sad when both a father and son are involved together in the illicit drug business,” Sheriff Randy Seal said in a written statement announcing the arrests.
