NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Yuengling beer is now available in Louisiana.
The brewery’s traditional lager, light lager and black and tan beers will hit stores and bars starting today.
Yuengling is America’s oldest brewery, starting off in Pottsville, Pennsylvania 187 years ago.
Later this year, Yuengling’s seasonal IPL should be available.
According to Nola.com, there’s a free launch party to celebrate Yuengling’s arrival in New Orleans.
It happens Thursday, Aug. 4 on Fulton Street. Cowboy Mouth, Flow Tribe and Big Sam’s Funky Nation will perform.
Before launching in Louisiana, Yuengling was only available in 18 states, despite being the oldest brewery in the country.
