NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Two women died and a man was injured in a one-vehicle crash on Earhart Boulevard.
According to NOPD, a Ford F150 was traveling north on Earhart at the intersection of South Broad Street this morning, when for reasons unknown the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The truck hit the right shoulder then left the road, traveled under the Broad Street overpass and struck a cement bridge support.
The male driver was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.
Two female passengers were pronounced dead on the scene.
The NOPD says the investigation is ongoing.
