NEW ORLEANS, LA (WGNO) — The Over the Edge event allows people to safely try — what might otherwise appear to be — a death-defying feat. They can rappel down Benson Tower.
Special Olympics Louisiana organizes the event. Participants agree to raise donations in exchange for the opportunity.
Professionals from area police departments and SWAT teams provide the training.
