MANDEVILLE, La. — Former Mandeville Police Chief Tom Buell passed away last night after a long battle with cancer.

The Mandeville Police Department asks that you keep Chief Buell’s family in your thoughts and prayers.

Buell served as police chief in Mandeville for roughly 30 years. He retired in 2008.

Funeral arrangements are pending.
