NEW ORLEANS – A water main busted outside of the Sewerage and Water Board’s (SWBNO) Carrollton Water Plant on Wednesday morning.
Repairs continue to progress along South Claiborne Avenue today, May 23, after a water main broke at the
Pictures from the scene show several large cracks in the concrete.
Water is pouring into the street from the busted concrete.
This area on Claiborne is believed to have been recently renovated.
Heavy machinery is on the scene.
