NEW ORLEANS – On Thursday afternoon, the Hard Rock demolition team began part of the planned, controlled demolition.
In the video, you can see a wrecking block crashing into what’s left of the building. Chunks of debris fall to the ground with every hit.
In an effort to curtail any dust coming off the building, water is being sprayed as the team works.
