SLIDELL, La. – Slidell Police say Highway 190 West is closed in both directions.

The department posted on Facebook saying a large tree fell across the highway near Harrison Road. Right now, crews are working to remove the tree.

Stick with WGNO throughout the night as severe weather is anticipated to make its way across the area.
