METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) — A lot of the 4th of July celebration events were canceled on Saturday following an afternoon of torrential rain. But Uncle Sam Jam in Metairie, La., was in full swing into the evening despite the downpours earlier in the day.
In fact, hundreds came out to Lafreniere Park to celebrate the Independence Day holiday weekend.
