NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — On Friday night, the NOPD began investigating an aggravated battery by shooting in the Warehouse District. More victims appeared as the evening went on, turning this incident into a triple shooting.
The initial call came in around 9:00 p.m. stating that a male victim was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital by EMS.
Shortly after 10:00 p.m., a male victim arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the hip. The NOPD determined this man was also a victim of the earlier incident.
Just fifteen minutes later, a male victim arrived at the hospital with a gunshot to the leg. The NOPD determined this man was also a victim in the earlier incident.
The shooting was confirmed to be a triple-shooting by the NOPD and was investigated as such.
The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time. WGNO will continue to provide updates as more information comes in.
