Rachel Hernandez joined WGNO as the station’s Digital Content Manager in May 2023.
Rachel grew up in Metairie and is an alumna of Cabrini High School in New Orleans.
Upon graduating high school, she attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she received a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism.
She lived in Mississippi for five years, spending part of that time as a Digital Producer for Nexstar’s WJTV/WHLT stations in Jackson and Hattiesburg.
Rachel is glad to be home and is excited to help tell the stories of those who live in Greater New Orleans.
