The Carnival Triumph is a 2,758 passenger cruise ship. It is moving to New Orleans from Galveston, Texas where it will be replaced the the Carnival Liberty. The Triumph will be begin to sail from New Orleans on April 4, 2016 with four-day cruises that visit Cozumel and depart on Thursdays and five-day cruises that visit Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico and depart on Mondays and Saturdays. They are offering a special three-day cruise from April 8-11, 2016.
To celebrate the ship’s arrival, they are hosting a fun charity event on board on April 4th that will involve representatives from four local music organizations competing for $35,000 in donations from Carnival to local music charities.
