FUELED Wellness + Nutrition | 5 non-alcoholic beer alternatives that are also low in carbs

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Non-alcoholic beers have come a long way since O’Doul’s was our only option.  Boutique breweries and mainstream brands alike have made 0.0 beers a regular feature in restaurants, at bars and festivals, and on store shelves.

Most range from 50 to 95 calories, and while they’re alcohol-free, many can raise glucose levels 40 to 50 points or more – as much as pizza or pasta.

In today’s FUELED segment, Molly shares 5 nonalcoholic beer alternatives that also have a minimal impact on glucose levels.

For more on non-alcoholic beers, including a taste test of a dozen-plus with local brewery owner Scott Woods, check out Molly’s FUELED podcast, Brews without Booze: Exploring the World of Non-Alcoholic Beer
