Gigi is a 2-year-old red dachshund. She’ll be up for adoption in 5 weeks after she completes her heartworm treatment that she is receiving thanks to a donation from the Southern Animal Foundation. The Jefferson SPCA had suspended their heartworm program due to the overwhelming number of heartworm positive dogs that they are already covering.
Gigi gets along great with other dogs. She is also super affectionate and loves to be held. She has all the wonderful dachshund traits especially burying herself under the covers to sleep at night.
