Wren is an 11-month-old Female American Staffordshire Terrier was surrendered to the shelter in late July 2015 by her homeless owner who had her since she was a puppy but wanted better for her. Wren was terribly shy but extremely sweet from day one, but had very painful lesions along her back and paws caused by the sun and hot pavement. Her skin was necrotic and our vet removed
the dead skin, but Wren still suffered a serious infection. Wren had to undergo a series of laser treatments on her back. Wren thrived under the care of the shelter vets and her amazing foster parents and after many months, she has recovered and is fully healed now. Wren is reported by her foster mom to be the sweetest girl in the universe. She is absolutely stunning, excellent with dogs, cats, and she adores everyone she meets. She has literally transformed and is the happiest girl you could ever meet. Wren is crate-trained, current on vaccinations, spayed, micro-chipped and has tested heartworm negative. She is a petite girl at 35 lbs and will stay small. Wren is a true success story, the only thing missing is her forever home.
