Some of this weekend’s events include:
- First, starting today, The New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University is the perfect festival for book lovers. The free Festival will feature fiction and nonfiction, classics, and new releases. - Like to eat? Food Fight, tonight at Lafreniere Park, is the ultimate event for foodies. Enjoy bites and creative cocktails from the city’s top restaurants as they compete in categories like “Top Traditional Dish” and more. Participating locales include Brennan’s, Lakeview Harbor, and others.
- Next, starting tomorrow night and running through next weekend, JPAS presents Jesus Christ Superstar at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center. The musical is an acclaimed rock opera by Andrew Lloyd Weber that depicts the final days of Jesus’ life. Visit the JPAS website for showtimes and tickets.
