KENNER, LA (WGNO) – Here’s something you don’t see every day! Oktober Fest is back with their famous Dachshund race.

Dachshund dogs had the opportunity to race in different groups. Puppies, wheelie, senior, and adult dogs raced for the grand price.

1st place winner received a $25 gift card and blue ribbon. The runner-up received a ribbon and treats.

This year’s Dachshund race benefited the NOLA Dachshund rescue.
